Nothing on Thursday (September 18, 2025) unveiled its newest wireless earbuds, the Nothing Ear 3.

For the first time, they added a ‘talk’ button on the case that lets you chat during calls in noisy places. Just press and hold it to start talking.

The ‘talk’ button features two microphones and utilizes beamforming technology to enhance voice clarity even in noisy settings.

Audio

The Nothing Ear 3 comes with a 12mm driver and is compatible with high-res audio, LDAC, and various other codecs.

Its upgraded diaphragm is said to enhance bass response, boost treble, minimize distortion, provide adaptive ANC, and deliver static spatial audio for a full 360° sound experience.

Nothing asserts that both the earbuds and the case have an IP54 rating, making them resistant to dust, sweat, and light rain.

For pairing, Android users can take advantage of Google Fast Pair, while iOS users and Windows users can use Microsoft Swift Pair.

The brand new Ear 3 can be personalized using the Nothing X app, allowing you to choose how to activate Essential Space or ChatGPT through the earbuds.
