Nothing on Tuesday (June 17, 2025) confirmed that the Phone 3 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The Phone 3 is set to launch on July 1, alongside Nothing’s debut product in the over-ear headphone category, the Headphone 1.

Nothing is saying that Phone 3 will be their first real flagship smartphone.

Carl Pei, the CEO of Nothing, mentioned, “We really need to surpass our last flagship, so in comparison to Phone (2), it’s going to be 36% quicker on the CPU, 88% more powerful on the GPU, and 60% more robust on the NPU. In practical terms, it’s going to feel much more responsive”.

“Our goal was to craft a well-rounded experience. This time, everything else improved significantly, so we required a more powerful chip to support it. Since people will be using these products for several hours daily, our focus is on delivering a comprehensive experience”, he mentioned.

The tech company based in London had earlier revealed that Phone 3 will be produced in India at its partner’s plant in Chennai.

Phone 3 probably won’t come with Nothing’s signature glyph interface on the back. It’s expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a dynamic refresh rate that can reach up to 120 Hz and a potential peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

Additionally, Phone 3 is likely to come with a 5,500 mAh battery, but it probably won’t include a charger.

The device might have a triple rear camera setup along with a single front camera.

In India, the price for Phone 3 is expected to start at over 50K.
